Career
Zehra Gunes has been very interested in sports since childhood and that’s why she later thought of playing volleyball and today she plays at the international level, in the 2016-17 Turkish Women’s Volleyball League season One, Gunnes got another women’s volleyball team Besiktas JK. was loaned to and then returned to her home club the following season.
Gunnes then achieved the first league champion title with Vakifbank Istanbul in the 2017–18 season, and was then awarded the Vestal Special Prize in 2017–18 in the Vestal Sultans League, which used to be Turkey’s top level league. It was sponsored by electronics and appliances manufacturing company Vestal.
After that in 2017-18 she participated in CEV Women’s Champions League and was also champion in it and talking about her international level, she also participated in 2015 European Youth Summer Olympic Festival held in Georgia, after that she participated in 2015 FUB in Peru. Also participated in Volleyball Girls Under 18 World Championship
After which she was awarded the title of Best Middle Interceptor and after that Zehra Gunes played in 2016 FIVB World Grand Prix and also gave good performance Zehra Gunes was also a member of Turkey Women’s Under 20 After that she participated in 2017 FIVB Volleyball Women’s Under 20 World Championship And there too he was named among the best middle blockers
After that she played for the Turkish Women’s Under 23 team in the 2017 Fubb Volleyball Women’s Under 23 World Championship and her team won her name. In January 2017 Zehra Gunes was invited by the Turkish team and was admitted to the team in March 2018. Gaya and since 2018 she plays in the Turkish FIVB Volleyball Women’s Nations League
