Ashiesh Roy (18 May 1965 – 24 November 2020) was an Indian television and film actor.
He started his career as a theatre artist. In 1997, he debuted as an actor in the DD National's TV serial, 'Byomkesh Bakshi.
He has appeared in various popular TV serials, like 'Movers & Shakers' (1998), 'Baa Bahu Aur Baby' (2006), 'Sasural Simar Ka' (2011), and 'Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi' (2016).
– He needs dialysis for which there is no money in his bank account. He had to ask for crowdfunding.
– In many Hollywood films, like “Bolt” “Superman Returns” (2006), ‘Man of Steel’ (2013), ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ (2014), and ‘The Legend of Tarzan’ (2016), he has given his voice as a dubbing artist.
