Heavy D – Arrington Myers better known as Heavy D was born on May 24 1967 in Mandeville, Manchester, Jamaica. His mother Eulahlee Lee was a nurse and his father Clifford Vincent Myers was a machine technician. After some time his family moves to another City Mount Vernon, New York where he grows up. During an interview with heavy d mother, she told them his childhood was mostly spent with his brother Floyd and friend mo. He was heading the Heavy D & the Boyz group which has many dancers and performers.
Journey:
They had already created a huge fanbase while the 1990s through their group in the United States. Up records signed Heavy D & the Boyz and they were the first groups which label has signed. Heavy D was the main rapper of the group and front men also. Their group has released almost 5 albums which were massive hits and the songs were produced by Teddy Riley, Marley Marl, DJ Premier, Pete Rock, and Eddie F. Heavy had also released for solo albums. Talking about the members of the group Eddie F is working as a business partner and T-Roy and G-Wiz is the two dancers of the group.
Carrier:
Success takes time but provides unlimited Joy for your whole life. Heavy D & the Boyz got a massive hit in 1987 with their album living large. Once an artist gets a hit, it makes him more hungry for creating new songs. And in the same row their next album Big Tyme was also so a blockbuster. This album includes 4 songs that were more popular among the audience. In 1990 the group has faced the death of Trouble T. Roy on July 15, 1990, at the age of 22 by an unfortunate Fall in Indianapolis.
Death:
In 2011 he has performed his last show with Eddie F in BET Hip Hop Awards. With an unfortunate incident by collapsing outside his own house, he died at the age of 44.
